Chess960 Hardware Position Generator

IEEE SISIMPACT 2025

Hardware-accelerated Fischer Random Chess position generator synthesized for a Xilinx Zynq-7020 FPGA. Published in IEEE Xplore (Resource-Efficient FPGA Realization of Chess960 Position Generator for Future Covert Communication Systems). Generates all 960 positions deterministically from a 10-bit seed using 2.17% LUTs and 0.566W power for covert steganographic communications.
